Person next door used to burn off all the time... until I got pissed off and rang the local fire brigade. I explained that it wasn't an urgent call, but they rocked up with the fire truck with flashing lights and all.
Twas rather amusing (and satisfying) watching the embarrassment of the neighbour while the fire brigade absolutely drilled them for burning off.
Serves them right... I recommend dobbing in a burner, both for environmental and comical value.
