depends on the car & engine. the engine will be under load to maintain a high speed like that, due to friction and air resistance.
we went down to the snow in my mates old n12 nissan exa - and when we stopped in canberra, he mentioned that hed been running on boost almost the whole way down, due to the wind. only a psi or 2, but still on boost. had a pretty glowing red turbo afte rthat too
