Why bother with a VL pump when a factory AE82 pump will do the job very well, and if you get the AE82 pump bracket and lengthen it by about 45mm or so it will bolt straight in to the AE86 tank, I ran this setup on my sprinter for 3 years with no problems and Ill be using the same setup in the corolla
EDIT: oops sorry I misread the bit with turbo, but you should be able to use the VL pump in the same bracket...is it an intank pump though??? I would be very carefull if it isnt, last thing you need is a piece of petrol tank rammed in your buttock
