No, It was built buy the previous owners uncle (who builds V8 supercars) I'm limited on EXACTLY was done to it but I'm led to beleive that it has been built out to 2.4l and has high compression (around 10.5 : 1) but I need to spend some time and look at the stroke height etc. to see if this is the case.

Hmm the only way i've heard of getting close to 2.4L from an 18RG is to grind out a 22R crank and use 22R rods with special order pistons that have the wrist pins right under the oil rings.
that yelds 2371cc's on a 92mm bore. Basically making a 22R block with a 18RG head. Very Happy gota love that 89mm stroke.. can you say mucho torque.

Do you have an STA singal to the ECU? That triggers the cold start injector circut. But as soon as the coolant temp reaches 95*F it shuts off. You may also have a bad Cold start timer(dont know why they call it that. its acually a temp sensor.. duh! Razz )
Also check your TPS. it maybe out of adjustment. that could explain the sluggishness off idle. the switches aren't triggering soon enough or to late. Have you messed with the AFM wheel?
