FKN16V Forums Junkie Location: NSW, East Coast Registered: July 2003	Re: The Thrid F@#king problem Tue, 14 October 2003 11:56 Try letting the car idle, then press in clutch, if noise goes away then its the throw out bearing, might even be the first bearing in the gearbox, which would need a rebuild. If this makes no difference then you know its not bearing problems and i got no-idea what it is. Does the motor and/or gearbox leak oil. Throw out bearings arent dear, $15-$20, but it requires the gearbox to be taken out. Might as well inspect the clutch and flywheel while your there. Check starter motor as well, you just never know.
