Mine's just painted in high temp exhast paint. I had it sand blasted before I painted it though, but if you pull 'em off & clean em up a bit with some sandpaper or a wire brush they should come up pretty good. Although after almost a year mine could de with a touch up, but it's still a pretty good job for something straight out of a can.
Hehe, it's fun when you start your car for the first time after painting them, especially if it's also the first time you've started it after stripping the engine bay for a paint job & just installed everything back into the engine bay, and your watching everything to make sure it's all working alright, like there's no leaks & all the wirings ok, and nothings about to start melting or anything, then all of a sudden, all this thick, white smoke starts pouring off the manifold!
Actually, I shouldn't have told you about it, let you get the proper experience.....
