Nige Regular Registered: October 2003	Re: Japanese Imports Wed, 15 October 2003 05:28 What do u mean by grey import?? the 5th generation celica Zr's are all imported yeah??? so they need compliance. this one didnt have comp. plate on it. he may have papers i don't know......... but he sed it is complied but i dont know whether to believe him cos he just wants to get rid of it. and by coincidence the rego is about to expire. do u have to have the plate for it to be complied or will the compiance papers do??? anyway the question remains... is it possible to register a vehicle and LEGALLY drive it without a compliance plate?
