EVOSTi Forums Junkie Location: cambo Registered: May 2002	Re: how do I tell if my valve stem seals are shaged Wed, 15 October 2003 11:52 clintgodde, not ALL valvestem seals can be replaced with the head on, some you definatelly cannot. but the way you described sounds like it would work but still sounds a bit dodgy. the way i do it is with compressed air but not everyone has access to an air compressor. if you do, cut the threaded end off a spark plug, drill a hole through the centre then weld an air fitting on the end. then all you do is screw in the plug and put an air line on it and the cylinder is full of compressed air and the valves cant fall in.
