hahaha, you reckon you could do it in a day do ya?

It take bloody age to find the shims you need, especially if you've got a bag full, that's the problem with needing the thickness to two decimal points.

Micrometers are great if you've got one, otherwise, good luck.

I think Brenton at Fours'n'More (next to Celica Spares) does exchanges for shims I think, and he has a machinist around the corner from him at SA Auto Engineering Service who has done work on these engines before.

Go to them and see what they suggests.
