cool1 this is for you, i have a clarion CD player in my car which has been in for almost 2 years now and the first year it worked all the time everytime with no problems at all never even skipped when thrashing on rough dirt roads yet it started to play up and wouldn't play a cd but only when the engine is running if you shut off the engine it will play a cd with no problems but if the engine is running it will come up with either or two error messages one saying "TOC can not be read, cd may be upside down" and second is umm i can't remember but the point is it doens't just come up with the same error msg all the time but sometimes i might get lucky and it will actually work when the engine is running but 90% of the time it doesn't what could be causing this problem that it only does it as the engine is running could it be noise coming through the power line from the engine or something like that? anyway what are your ideas on the matter.
