Series 1 RX7 Brake Upgrade

not that brake upgrades are all that technically difficult, i'm just wondering if anyone around here has ever attempted this, oh, and sorry about the reference to an RX7.
myself and a friend are currently in the process of thinking out a setup for his RX7. we are stuck when it comes to disc and hub. fititng any caliper is no concern, just a backing plate being made. the problem is that the RX7 has a hub type disc, and we're after an alternatine two piece hub with a separate disc. if anyone knows of anything that might fit or have done such a mod, please help us out.
