for lack of a better description its an anti lag setup... basically a diesel injector in the exhaust manifold that squirts a constant flow of fuel into the exhaust manifold while not on boost. the fuel is meant to burn creating flames which expand and create more gasses to help the turbo spool up quicker. has anyone attempted this before? is it as effective in practice as in theory?

you mean just like the WRC rally cars?? if you have ever heard the pops and bangs from the exhuast on decel (kinda like rifle cracks), then you can imiagine what it does to their turbos...
yes it will work, no your turbos won't last long....
