As I said before, for $2000-$3000, I could do a 1G-GTE conversion on my RA23. What I was considering was supercharging my 18R-G. To do so, I'd need a fresh bottom end (current 18R-G has probs in that area), new cams to suit the SC (current cams will have too much overlap), then I'd need to buy a 1G supercharger, get a custom crank pulley made, bigger injectors, *good* ECU, intercooler, piping etc. On my calculations, I'd be looking at $3000 plus the cost of the fresh bottom end. Sure, it'd be a nice motor, something different, but it's not something that's cost effective at the moment.
