is it the switch or the fan or the relay?? the switch should power the relay,which in turn powers the fan.
how did you narrow it down to the thermofan switch?

if it keeps blowing, might be good to invest in a circuit breaker! they are available for 12V in various amps, and are around $10... so much easier than fuses, since you can see if it's tripped and you just turn it on Very Happy
