Tue, 21 October 2003 12:45 3sge would be hard to put in - I agree with frank - try sourcing a 1gge they are a nice 2 litre 6 cylinder motor - with good power probably a lot cheaper to find than a 3sge or a 20 valve too ! the advantage with the 1g is it uses the W series gearbox - you dont have to try to source a t50 gearbox , or make mounts , OR find a ta23 crossmember to fit the gearbox the 4ag needs in! ( is this right ?) A NA 6 cyl in an ra28 - would be heaps tough if you want to keep it non turbo pick of the bunch - dollar for dollar !
