Call me biased, but I don't reckon it would be too bad. My 16v 4AGE goes as hard as an 18R-G, and putting a 20v in will do wonders for the power to weight, 120kW with a much lighter engine & g'box package!  Not to mention your new 50:50 weight distribution.
Research any mods you do to it & make sure they're going to work & are cost effective, & I don't reckon it would be too bad at all, although you'll definitely need an upgrade in a few years.
But otherwise it would make a great P platers car.
It would be original too.
