um, you forgot the bit that says you need a T50 with an A series bellhousing. and no the A series bell doesn't fit the T series T50.
i'm almost finished my 4AGE conversion into my 73 celica. i face the same issue you do, my T50 is unknown, well, it might be kinda known, i pulled the oil which was ok, the drain plug had a few grains on it, and put fresh 80w-90 oil in it - see how we go i spose, i get all my gears no issues.
i had to cut about 1.5" in the trans tunnel so the gear shifter would fit too FYi - the T50 with A bell fits your gearbox crossmember fine, i used the middle holes (there are four) for the crossmember to bolt to, with, ford cortina rubber pad mounts.
and then its time to make brackets and start fabricating. i'm using an RA65 celica accelerator cable, and, you need to cut the end off the TA22 pedal and weld the RA65 pedal bit on for it to work. on a std 4AGE (mine is running LPG) a KE55 corolla one might be a better idea.
also dizzy is on the wrong side for the 4AGE in the TA22 - need to move to other side - there is a flat section next to the external regulator which the coil mounts fine in - just some 2 core wire to bring the + and - over will work...
as far as your exhaust manifold goes, i can only wish you luck. am up to this now.....(did someone say HKS turbo manifold?)
