Fri, 24 October 2003 00:23 the 1G-GE aint such a bad engine and would be a better engine to use now if you plan on upgrading to a 1G-GTE later down the tack. If not I would look at putting in an 18R-GU. At least then you can keep the original mounts and gearbox. You just need to wire it up and fix up linkeages and fuel. An 18R-GU will be cheaper easier and more than likely perform better than a 4A-GE. Although Cams idea with the V6 would be a ripper. [Report message to a moderator]
