anyone know what the difference in piston area is between these 4 piston jobbies and other brakes??
after all, clamping force is what you are after, and that is only a ratio between the caliper piston area and your MC area, as is MC travel....
surely a 2 pot caliper with the same piston area as a 4 pot will have the same pad force for a given MC force??? then the only difference would be the 'even-ness' of load across the pad, giving more even pad wear (assuming same size pads??
or am i completely wrong??
