Thanks guys, Microtech have configured the computer for a CAS, and advised us to use any late model Toyota CAS , fantastic in theory, however most "late" model Toyota's use an OHC driven distributor or CAS, not an old side cam design as in the 2TGEU. HUGE problems in trying to adapt a CAS to fit into a tiny 2TG dizzy housing. To the Electrical: A true CAS requires; a. Crank angle reference signal generated by a multicog toothed wheel passing a hall effect sensor, and b. TDC or home signal, again utilizing a hall effect sensor. If I send the computer back to Microtech to be configured to use the single hall effect sensor, I will lose sequential firing of injectors, and the ability to drive coil packs.
Has anyone got any suggestions on another engine type which could be canabalized to get a CAS
