Are your actually have a problem with noise through your stereo? Normally when you fit a new "bigger" stereo to an older car or any car for that matter you will run a new supply line from the stereo to the battery!
But you dont need to have that filter right near the battery, you can have it hidden under the dash.

Hell bring a six pack down here next weekend and i'll fit it for you.
