If the noise supressor is for your audio system then i would be very dubious of the installation.
Alot of "professional" installers can't be bothered to wire 'every day joes' system perfectly and prefer to whack on one of these noise supressors to save an extra 30mins.
If you have wired your system in the garage the answer is simple:
Run all your power wires down 1 side of the car, and all the signal (speaker) wires down the other.
Do not stinge on cheap wire and avoid bends / crimps and excess lengths of wire.
Ever heard the motto, it's the $2 parts that ruin your day ?

Most noise issues with stereo systems are not caused by crap installs, they are caused by noisy ignitions and alternators!
