thanks for the replies people.

correct me if im wrong, im pretty sure the thermostat is on the bottom raditor hose.

i still cant understand why my old 4age never sat below half way and the 4agze hadly moves off the C line.

whats the temp rating for a 4agze/4age thermostat? does anyone have it off hand cos i dont really wanna drain my cooling sys and pull it apart to check.


maybe mines in 'cold mode' ?! my fan does cut in and out so that works fine
