This is a second hand story,but good for a laugh.
A mate of mine "Waz" is out with a couple of mates in Cooma on a Saturday night.
Patto (not drinking mind you) was driving the ute with his missus riding shotgun.Waz,Smithy and Skins were all in the back with a case of Melbourne Pizzed as.
Anyway Pattos doing a bit of hooning,looses it and gets into the gravel slams into a big old tree.No-ones hurt but all the stubbies are smashed and the boys in the back are a bit knocked about.Sure as Sh-t who turns up seconds later but the Local Constable.
"Ok Patto! What the F--ks happened here?" He says as sarcastic as hell.
Quick as a flash Waz explains.
"Jesus!Ya wouldn't believe it! Me an Smithy an Skins were sitting up in the tree having a quiet beer an Patto's swerved to miss a cat an we all ended up in the back of the ute!"
The copper pis--d himself laughing and gave all of them a lift home.
At least some of the country cops still have a bit of human in em.
