rob_RA40 Forums Junkie Location: c'town, NSW Registered: May 2002	Re: Clutch help on RA28 Tue, 28 October 2003 04:12 get the car on stands 2x12mm spanners take off the the nuts and bolts attaching the tailshaft to the diff then take out the 2 bolts holding the tailshaft center bearing u can now take the tailshaft out but if u havent drained the oil in the box then leave it in for the time being take out speedo cable from gearbox disconnect the slave cylinder get the longest socket extension bar possible one of those 3 - 4 foot ones and stick a stiff socket uni joint attachment on it (if the uni joint keeps flopping around a little electrical tape can help) take out all the bellhousing bolts bar 2 either side that are easy to get to. then get the trolley jack under the box and take out the gearbox xmember and left over bellhousing bolts, lowering the gearbox onto the ground with the trolley jack. take the pressure plate off the flywheel and wala.
