you say a TO4R is to big with only a 1.00 rear housing yet you say put a 1.06 earhousing on a 3040. and the TO4R will be Laggy? if you are going to get your box rebuilt, get it done by MV Automatics in blackwood SA, i am very happy with there work. i am running a 3000 rpm stall which with the standard turbs i could hold 3600rpm on the line at eastern creek. if drag racing is all you are interested in the T04R will be fine as long as you get you box done with a bigger stall. if you are up for a drag beast go the 3040 it has a smaller wheel the fron housing and the rear housing is smaller if you go the .82 option. speak to brett a gcg i found him very good, but honestly i looked at the mainfold and tail gate and decided to go get a custom job built and a PSR gate. as the tial he recommends i dont feel will flow enough air if you want to run say 9 psi on the street. lower the boost you run the bigger the waste gate you will need to pass the air.
