I shoulda added that I've already upgraded the fuel pump - but not injectors, have a monster FMIC and custom piping and am running a SAFC2 (which I'll ditch if I ever go for a quality turbo).
For all-out power and response, I love the sound of the GT3040. But, how would this compare to the ballbearing, steel wheel high-flowed ct12's?
According to the blurb: "This is a conversion carried out to the standard set of turbochargers which bolt back onto the engine, with only the oil & water lines requiring slight modifications. The package uses Garrett GT ball bearing CHRA's"
It just doesn't say how quickly yjey spool up and what sort of power they can handle.
I'm really not looking for a drag racer or lag monster - just something that will be ultra-quick off the lights and make good 0-60/100 times.
747: I've heard great things about MV, but I don't really want to send my box from WA to SA and wait. I'll either get it done locally, or maybe look into the 'tricked up' A340E that JMS are selling.
Still, this is all dream talk at the moment. I'm still trying to get it all on the road!
