Sat, 27 July 2002 02:25 Of course I don't know the whole story in this situation but you can't always blame the guy who bought the car, maybe he was unaware what is going on? It's the guy who sells the car out from under you where your anger should be directed at. BTW I never go to look at something to buy without some cash for a deposit and a pen/paper to write out a receipt... still not fullproof tho, if the guy sells it and gives your deposit back, what can you do besides beating him up and ending up in trouble yourself? I'm not sure what legal action you could take in that situation, or whether it will end up being worthwhile or not... But I can understand your anger.. hasnt happened to me yet, but I'd be pretty upset if it did.. rgrds sam [Report message to a moderator]
