Re: 18RG Conversion - any Problems? Sun, 02 November 2003 11:27 Go to previous messageGo to previous message
I just got my exhaust finished off last friday, went under the diff and it made a significant improvement i think!! in sound and flow definately, because the old bends were terrible!!
Its only a 2" system off pacemakers, into two resinators and under the axle into a straight through muffler.. I wanted to go 2&1/4" but the extractors only come out at as 2" and i already had two almost brand new 2" resinators sitting around..

BUT it sounds great now and has heaps more pull in all gears down low as well as up high, not too loud but it is when i open up that thottle Very Happy , which by the way is controlled by CABLE and has a great feel to it. quite firm pedal but smooth to push down. I have never loved DOHC sound so much before now ...
