rob_RA40 Forums Junkie Location: c'town, NSW Registered: May 2002	Re: GT4 go fast bits Sun, 28 July 2002 04:29 how can u all possibly think u can make a comment of how expensive or cheap engines and front cuts should be? the thing u have to realise is that things change, engines cant be affordable forever. if you really want to make a comment heres an exercise for you, describe to us what you think an importer has to go thru to get an engine from japan to australia, then tell me how your pricing plan can keep them in buisness, specifically commenting on the state of the Japanese economic climate. heres what i think happens: japanese people buy a new car every 4 days, that means they abandon their old supra's, GTR's, Cosmo's and STi's on the side of the road for the wreckers to pick up for free. then the wreckers chuck all the bits into containers, it doenst cost them any money to do this as they have trained monkeys working rather than people. then they put them on the next dingy to australia, the dingy lands at port and a truck takes the container to the importers place, the importer then gives the truck driver $7.10 to cover the toll he incurrs on the M5 motorway. then the importer happily sells then engines to us for thousands of dollars profit............... **sarcasm detector proceeds to explode** sorry for the long rant, i hope at least someone finds it amusing..
