if you are going to say that you should explain the particular circumstances that brings you to that assumption or at least what store in particular it was that was dodgy...
yes i've heard stories of people doing dodgy shit but i know for a fact that all the fitters at my store will do any given job properly, if there was a customer to come back to fix a problem %95 of the time it would be product failure.
just getting my point across.

I believe "stratties" are dodgy, well in my area anyway. Got an alarm + immobiliser put in. Very dodgy, no boot alarm even though it was a "full car alarm", booked it in and taken it back there twice to get them to put one in, but the mercury switch they ordered didnt turn up, then the second time it broke. Also very dodgy wiring, immobiliser caused start up problems every now and then, really annoying. Solder dripped all over my car mats(lucky they were cheap), chipped my dash when installing alarm light and no casing or anything around any wires. Thats dodgy if you ask me 
I would never get anything done there again, for me I would have rathered to spend the extra money and get it done properly somewhere else.
