Mate if your new bush is a lot shallower then the original it should be the right one.
Mine actually sits below the two pins in the selector housing. you sort of need to squash it a little to get it in.
But once its in its sweet as, I actually put a small ammount of wheel bearing grease in the bowl part of the bush. makes for a firm but easy shift.
