Metalic grating sounds and whining and rubbing... not cool Sun, 09 November 2003 23:56 CAR = 1974 TA22 I had this rubbing noise coming for the rear left for ages. i thought it was the wheel bearings and nothing major so i planned to keep driving it until after my hsc has ended. anyway i have finished the hsc and now the noise got a whole lot worse. So tell me what could it be? so far options seem to be... Replace diff. DO wheel bearings ( In the celica manual ive got i can see any wheel bearings for the rears... are there even any) CV joints is what the manual says to look at. What do u guys think?
