umm supposedly the gasket started to fail before the head was retensioned at 500 kms after installation (less than 2 weeks) then when it was retensioned it basicly squashed the already out of shape gasket which made things worse and eventually, after not quite 3 months it failed between each cylinder. the block also had a high spot near number 2 cylinder which has now been draw filed away, which is suppoesedly an ok substitiute to pulling the whole engine out to face the block. the place where i got the work done cant explain why the gasket failed after such a short time and has recommended not using a copper gasket again.
