Mon, 29 July 2002 09:29 My thoughts exactly, if you dribble onto the freeway, then the person you cut off, brakes real hard, which then forces the person behind them to brake even harder, and they are so close to start with, all hell breaks loose!!! So both of them conbined is even worse than the single event!!! Thats what i found its like here in brisbane. In Darwin, most of the roads are above 70ks when you out of the suburbs, and they dont have freeways with easy merging lanes, you enter the 100k traffic from zero speed, so you learn that distancing yourself from the car in front is more than essential, it saves your life!!! I've seen many southern people get caught in Darwin doing exactly what they call tail-gating!! Its so bad. Nilezy [Report message to a moderator]
