Mon, 29 July 2002 23:29 I have fitted an auto 1jz to a MA71. there is a fair bit to change but I dont see an reason to fry an ecu. how exactly did it happen? If you give an ECU basic power and ground connections there isnt a great deal you can do from there to kill it. We also had an auto 1JZ from a JZX81 running in a VH commodore. When the auto blew up twice we got a 5 spd for it and it was no trouble running the engine as a manual on the auto computer. [Report message to a moderator]
