a) straight line....
if you are talking about the 4ac, pretty crappy...
if you are talking about a bigport 86kw... not bad..
a bit slow on take off.. but once you get into the high rev range... pretty sweet.
b) That said, if you can keep it in the power band/rev range, and corner well, it is an awesome car for cornering. weight is close to 50/50 so it's pretty drivable. And the car is very, very responsive. So you can feel and react to the road conditions better than a lot of cars.
c) In terms of money out of pocket, it's a tough one.
purcahse price is overly expensive. Modyfying one so it's decent is also expensive too (2k for a limited slip is a joke). By the time you finish with an engine transplant, light tuning, suspension upgrade, and the diff, you would have blown more money into the car than buying silvia K.

Running costs is good however.

Bottom line, it's a good car. A bit pricey for what it is tho. Most people buy it as a daily runner, and work from there. However, only the hardcor 86 enthusiast see it all the way to the end.

rock on.
