Only source I've found has been JP's in Adelaide. Steve M on here set me the following and can organise as he lives nearby (something I'm yet to do)
Yes, the 9.7:1 dome i slightly over size should give you a CR of a little over 9.7:1.
I have the Hastings part number for the 89mm bore (0.5 OS)
(Hastings premium RS1294020CR4H) is for 89 bore (.020" OS)
I think rings are available for upto 1.5mm over size in .5mm increments, but can not remember for sure. The part number is pretty easy to understand and I could make that one up for you if you want.
IF you went for the 89 bore then the the 9.7:1 dome would give you comprtession readings between 188psi and 184psi ish. That is what we got with the same set up at least, and the cams that you are running will make a difference too. Ours were 88251 cams, which would account for the readings being slightly higher than the book's 179psi ish figure.
THe best way to go is to get the pistons and then get the block bored to suit, as there are bound to be very small differences between them.
SOMETHING TO NOTE:
Do not follow the .08 - .1mm end gap figure that the book gives. The end gap should be around .356mm minumum
(our end gap was .39 after the boring and new pistons and new rings, the guy who did the work on the engine said that about right)
Justin
PS if you are thinking of ordering let me know as I need same and they need to be made anyway, should be just under $600 without rings (they supply but aren;t that great)
