Yes but the problem is the fan spins at the same speed as the engine, thus at idle in traffic not much air moves where as thermos spin at full speed when needed
On the ma70 the temp used to go one bar above operating temp with the clutch fan now with the thermos it never go's above half it actualy drops a bar below before the fans switch off!
Not to mention the grunt it sucks out of the engine, i once tryed a 7m-gte fan on an M-EU damn near stalled the engine when it clutched in!
