its not overheating cos when i stop the temp goes down Confused

it goes normal warm hot warm normal etc... and no i dont have a spare sensor to try :S

If the car was overheating wouldnt it stay on HOT when i was stopped?

Ive only had the car for a few days but today is the only day it has done it.

Any ideas? im hoping its not the head gasket cos i just got it n dont want it off the road yet :S

will it be safe to drive it home from work? (50kms at 80kph) or wll i have to stop and let the guage go back to normal just in case like i did on the way to work when i noticed it?

oh yeah, and its a bloody 7mgte Confused im thinking i really should just do a 2jz swap Razz
