you will definitely need to get it engineered.
1) for increasing powr mor ethan 15%
2) you are adding an SC
3) you are altering the emmisions of a new car
4) you wanna be able to insure it?

go and talk to an engineer first, will save you a lot of headaches with an unregisterable car.

as for SC on a high comp motor, it is probably a very low boost,

10% +5% + 10% for the stickers Razz
seriously tho, they can claim those %s for certain situations, but it will not always be the case.
an NA motor will respond better to a different exhaust than an SC. same goes for air intake. btw, isn't the air already taken from a fairly cool spot?? most new cars do, btu sometimes the housing is designed for noise more than flow..

170Nm to 160Nm is a 53% increase. you'd be hard pressed to do this on less than 7 or 8psi boost, and with such a high CR to start with.... does TRD USA suggest low comp pistons? or they run with stock 10:1 CR? what RON fuel are they using (their measure is different to ours) does the ECU retard timing for boost? does it's fuel map cater for boost??
sounds like a very interesting project, and well worth doing, or at least trying!! good luck!
Cya, Stewart
