Personally I wouldnt use Synthetic in your 2TGTE, I have a 3TGTE and I dont even use syntethic oil for the motor. Reason being is that these motors were made when synthetic oil wasnt around therefore they were made for the use of regular thicker oils.
I am no expert but I have been told by many not to use synthetic in my 3TGTE let alone a 2TGTE, I would go the penrite oil, I always use this and have no problems with it, so far.
