fkn16v - the spigot ain't part of a rebuild kit and its common for them to be left out. like T says - if the spigot bush ain't there - there is a good chance thats why the input shaft bearing failed dude. what happens is the input shaft (the real small part on the end) sits in the bearing and the bearing supports the shaft. otherwise, you'd end up with the main shaft moving up and down/all over the place, and, eventually destroying your input shaft bearing. removing it, if you use a slide hammer it will get destroyed, so, go to yota and get another one (they cost stuff all) - just specify an ae71 w/4AC and T50 and this will suit (mine did and i'm using a 100kw motor) [Updated on: Tue, 18 November 2003 19:55] [Report message to a moderator]
