lumpy Forums Junkie Location: Adelaide, SA Registered: May 2002	Re: Acrylic paint on taillights Thu, 20 November 2003 04:49 You should be able to use most bright or deep red enamel spray paints - as these are usally based on orgainc pigments with high colour strength and good transparency. Just don't put a thick coat on (instead do a couple light mist coats) and you'll be OK. Acrylic from toyworld? I'm guessing this is a water based acrylic artist or hobby paint. This would be shit on plastic as they are generally not resistant to the plasticiser in plastic and will peel off or fail quite fast. They wouldn't be as transparent as solvent based acrylic or enamels either. Are the orange parts of your tailights indicators? If so, shouldn't they have to remain orange (comply with RTA regulations)? [Report message to a moderator]
