Hey Dude

I have the same setup (cept its a GEU with twin solex) in my TA23 and i have the same problem. I have been driving it with the "tight" accelerator for 2 years now.. I have gotten used to it and even like it now. Tho it is impossable to slowly rev up/down. My driving style is either foot flat, or foot off so that dousnt bother me as much. Very Happy

Another thing i have found funny is watching others try to drive my car.. so funny because they either stall it a million times or over rev it and burn my clutch as i have a very short clutch engage/disengage distance.

I have been told (but never seen it done) that you can use the original mechanical accelerator setup buy turing one of the mounts on the firewall (the one closest to the bonnet latch) upside down. so if you have the parts maybe u can tinker with that.

hope it helps
Graham
