heres the prob, last time i priced exhaust manifold gaskets and the like they wanted like 200$nz for em cause they hafta get them from japan, so a full rebuild is gonna be a crazy price. prob in the vinicinity of $4k with forgies and thats not even starting to upgrade shit yet, the engine is tired the turbo is smokey, i have a replacement tho, but not going to do it till i get gaskets, and if i rebuild it will be with forgies
or i could just put in a 200hp 1g-gte and pull 14sec quarter miles, i just want something with a little more go that will go in relitivly easy. i belive these cars weigh in at about 1100kg so they are light, a 1ggte with the boost turned up, 230hp? would be good for mid 13's with traction?
