Wed, 31 July 2002 02:48 Hi there just like to share my last weekend trip to melbourne.... well driving from adelaide to melbourne for a big weekend in melbourne with the mates, i was caught speeding twice and received two parking tickets!! Unbeleiveable. Well doing 139 in VICS very slow 100 highway zones was duely deserved, but 65 in a 60 zone is pure crap! The parking tickets: Well the first ticket was from leaving my car in the parking zone after the meter expired. Thats worth $50. So i decided to leave the car there for the next day. Come back the next day, and there's another ticket on it! Another 50 bucks! The offence was for parking longer than indicated. But however, the ticket said i was parked in zone 3, this is wrong i was parked in zone 5, just like the first ticket. Can i take this up to them and say u stuffed it up! Well all up the total fines add up to $485. Could've flown 1st class!! Damn that..... [Report message to a moderator]
