A/c Light Flashing is a Speed Sensor signal fault.
There is a speed sensor built into the Compressor.
If you turn the A/C on and have someone look at the Magnetic Clutch - it should try to engage . If the Belt Squeels and slips the compressor is seized.
On SV21 it was a common problem for the Connectors to be loose/corodded and stopping the signal getting through.
So best bet is to check the connections first.
Flashing light is not caused by too little gas as this will trip the low pressure switch and the A/C will not work at all ( No Lights anywhere)
