If $3500 is for the cost of the engine + ancilleries, all labour required to get it running then I would call that a good deal.

You could probably save anywhere from $500 to $1k by doing it yourself. You would need a engine hoist or block and tackle and a good sidchrome set.

Whar sort of budget are you working with? Because if I had the $3.5k and not the tech know how I would go toyospares ;p Otherwise I would recomend getting a tech manual + front cut (so you get the better brakes + ancilleries) and do it yourself... Its pretty easy once you get into it.

Or alternatively I could give you hand/do it for you (for a price of course)?
