i got quoted more than that and the only testing station is in PERTH or somewhere...
anyways what year is your car?
last engineer i spoke to if the car was pre jul76 it didn't have to meet much in the way of emissions, only a certain level of co2 at idle / however ppm at idle also (easily tested by most workshops)
